Overview
In the heart of Central Anatolia, Cappadocia was shaped by lava, wind and time — and then by people who carved churches, monasteries and entire underground cities into its soft tuff. The Göreme Open-Air Museum, the fairy chimneys of Paşabağ and the multi-level city of Kaymaklı reveal centuries of art, faith and survival.
Cappadocia features in four of our six itineraries. We stay two or three nights, arrive with a glass of wine at a valley viewpoint, and reserve balloon slots in advance for guests who want the sunrise flight.
