Overview
This itinerary leaves the standard circuit after Istanbul: the UNESCO-listed timber town of Safranbolu and its canyon, a glass of wine at sunset on arrival in Cappadocia, Rumi’s lodge in Konya, the Roman highland city of Sagalassos in the Taurus mountains, and a full day afloat among the Fethiye islands before flying back to Istanbul.

Day 1 — Arrival in Istanbul. Meet your representative, transfer to your hotel; rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Istanbul
Day 2 — Old City, the Bosphorus and the Grand Bazaar. Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, a Bosphorus cruise, then the Grand Bazaar. Breakfast · Overnight: Istanbul
Day 3 — Topkapı Palace, the Spice Market, Fener and Balat. The sultans’ palace, the Egyptian Bazaar and an afternoon in the multicultural streets of Fener and Balat. Breakfast · Overnight: Istanbul
Day 4 — Safranbolu, Tokatlı Canyon and Ottoman houses. Crystal Terrace over the canyon, the 17th-century Cinci Han, the Kaymakamlar Museum House and the bazaar. Breakfast, dinner · Overnight: Safranbolu
Day 5 — Yörük Village and onward to Cappadocia. Ottoman-era timber houses, then the volcanic plateaus of Cappadocia and a glass of wine at sunset. Breakfast, dinner · Overnight: Cappadocia
Day 6 — Göreme, Avanos pottery and Paşabağ Valley. Rock-cut churches, a pottery workshop on the Kızılırmak, fairy chimneys. Optional dawn balloon flight (USD 300, weather permitting). Breakfast, dinner · Overnight: Cappadocia
Day 7 — Kaymaklı Underground City and Turkish carpets. A carpet atelier, the multi-level underground city, Pigeon Valley and Cemil village. Breakfast, dinner · Overnight: Cappadocia
Day 8 — Konya and the Mevlâna Museum, onward to Sagalassos. Rumi’s lodge in Konya, then into the Taurus highlands. Breakfast, dinner · Overnight: Sagalassos
Day 9 — The Sagalassos ruins, onward to Fethiye via Isparta. The great theatre and Roman remains; lavender and rose fields of Isparta in season. Breakfast · Overnight: Fethiye
Day 10 — A Fethiye islands cruise. A full day among the islands with swimming stops and lunch on deck. Breakfast, lunch · Overnight: Fethiye
Day 11 — Flight to Istanbul and a free afternoon. Transfer to Dalaman Airport; afternoon at leisure in Istanbul. Breakfast · Overnight: Istanbul

Yes. The same route can run as a private departure on your own dates, with a dedicated guide and vehicle.

No — you arrive in Istanbul on your own flight; from there every transfer, domestic flight, hotel night and site entry is ours.
What about optional extras such as the balloon flight?
Optional activities are booked locally and paid separately; we reserve a slot for you if you ask in advance.
