Overview
Athens is where our Istanbul-to-Athens journey crosses the Aegean: a flight from İzmir, then the Acropolis and its museum, the Corinth Canal, Mycenae and Epidaurus, the Byzantine citadel of Mystras, Ancient Olympia, Delphi and the monasteries of Meteora — classical Greece in one arc.
